The purpose of Bay Area Counseling Association (BACA) is to promote unity and provide growth and interaction among mental health professionals, students and persons engaged in any phase of the counseling profession in the Bay Area.
A chapter of the Texas Counseling Association, BACA encompasses Galveston County, Southeast Harris County and Chambers County. Membership is open to any person whose primary responsibilities or interests are in the area of human development- specifically: counselors, psychologists, social workers, and other professional in the counseling profession. Such persons may become members of the association upon payment of the annual dues to BACA.
